Severe thunderstorms are active in southeastern North Dakota at this time. They are moving southeastward and will move into west central Minnesota later this afternoon.
There is a slight risk of severe weather for western to east central Minnesota later this afternoon and this evening. The strongest storms are likely to pass southwest of the metro area, but the Twin Cities are included in the slight risk area.

Currently in southeastern Minnesota, a thunderstorm is passing thru the Wabasha area.
