Minneapolis police are searching for a man suspected of sexually assaulting a 33-year-old woman near Powderhorn Park early Saturday morning.
Police describe the suspect as a thin black man in his 30s or 40s, 6 ft.-6 ft. 2 inches tall, with a dark complexion.
The victim believes the attacker followed her off a bus at 34th and Chicago at about 2 a.m. Saturday, according to police. The man then dragged her to what a city crime prevention alert described as an "isolated area." He sexually assaulted her, and stole her jacket and cell phone, according to police.
Police have released photos of the man, which were taken by a surveillance camera on the bus that the victim was riding. She has identified the man in the photo as her assailant.
