It's a new era for Minnesota: the state health department has opened the process for allowing people to use marijuana legally.
The medical marijuana registry opened Monday morning, a month before the drugs go on sale, first in Minneapolis and Eagan.
It's a tricky process as the state and health care providers navigate conflicting drug law.
