That chill in the air today is a cold front slicing through Minnesota. Expect gusty northwest winds and steady to falling temperatures today.
The leap day chill comes thanks to a Canadian high pressure cell diving south. Super Tuesday looks dry and cool for Minnesota.
Many of the so-called SEC Primary states deal with rain, thunder and a risk of severe weather tomorrow.
We close February and open March on a chilly note. The models suggest another weekend warm up, with 50s and March rain likely early next week.
March leans milder than average looking forward.
