A last glimpse at St. Paul's old Woolworth building

Many people remember the old Woolworth's lunch counter — it was always a mainstay back in the day for a hamburger and a malt.

The Woolworth building in downtown St. Paul opened again Wednesday after years of being vacant.

A real estate firm planning to renovate the building invited the public to an open house to see the lunch counter one last time before it's torn out.

Morning Edition producer Max Nesterak dropped by and came back with this report.
