How to get more women into corner offices

Share story

The number of female CEOs leading Fortune 500 companies may be at an all-time high, but the number is still pretty low.

The list Fortune released this year shows that only 32 of the largest companies in the U.S. (ranked by revenue) have women at the helm. That translates to 6.4 percent.

• Janet Dolan is the President of Act 3 Consulting and the former CEO of Tennant Company

• Mary Pokluda is the Founder & CEO of Bumblebee Personal Assistants

• Susan Boren is a former manager at Spencer Stuart, an executive search firm
