Thursday looks blissful across Minnesota. But our next low-pressure wave arrives overnight Thursday into Friday morning with more waves of strong thunderstorms.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's North American Mesoscale Forecast System 3 km model suggest at least two waves of thunder and rain. One could come after midnight in the wee hours of Friday morning. The second wave could develop as a squall line Friday afternoon and evening.
