Ex-Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor breaks his silence

Ex-Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor took the stand in his trial Friday afternoon—speaking for the first time about what happened the night he fatally shot Justine Ruszczyk.

The former Minneapolis police officer faces murder and manslaughter charges in the shooting death of Ruszczyk. He was sitting in the passenger seat of the squad car when shot across his partner and hit Ruszczyk in the abdomen.

MPR reporter Jon Collins is covering the trial. He joined Angela Davis for a look at what we learned in court this week—and what's next.
