Minnesota is about to come down with another serious case of weather whiplash. Just a few days after record May snowfall in Duluth, a pattern change early next week blows in milder air into Minnesota. It's no wonder seasonal confusion is a personality trait in Minnesota.

Mixed bag weekend
This big weekend in Minnesota brings a little bit of weather for everyone. we enjoy a mix of sunshine, showers, and a healthy walleye chop Saturday.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Global Forecast System model captures the low-pressure system spinning south this weekend. Rain should hold off in the Twin Cities area until later in the day and Saturday night. A few showers will linger for Mother's Day.

Milder next week
It's been a two steps forward, one step back spring. But we are making progress. I think. 70s return next week. We'll take it.
