Our next rain waves rumble through Minnesota overnight Wednesday into Thursday. Another 1 to 3 inches of rain are likely across Minnesota by Thursday night. The ground across much of Minnesota is already saturated and just can’t hold much more rainfall.
A flash flood watch is up for much of southern Minnesota including the Twin Cities through Thursday night.
NOAA’s HRRR model shows developing thunderstorm again in southwest Minnesota tonight spreading north into the Twin Cites after midnight.
