Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes comes to St. Paul on Thursday, debuts solo album on Friday
You might know Brittany Howard as the voice behind Alabama Shakes, but that band went on hiatus last year, so Howard could focus on her solo project.
Howard’s new album, “Jaime,” is named for her older sister, who died of cancer when both were children. The album comes out on Friday, but fans can hear Howard on Thursday night at the Palace Theater in St. Paul.
