Charlie Parr’s new self-titled album comes out on Friday

Charlie Parr’s newest album comes out on Friday, on Red House Records.

The self-titled album includes a cover of the song “Running, Jumping, Standing Still.” Parr told Folk Alley it was an honor to record the song, with lyrics written by one of his musical heroes": Spider John Koerner. “John is so candid when he talks about it being an exercise he did, trying to rhyme things,” he said.” But I see it as so much more than that.”
