The Minnesota Timberwolves begin a new season on Wednesday night with a game against the Nets in Brooklyn.
The team is coming off a tumultuous 2018-2019 season, in which All-Star Jimmy Butler demanded a trade just before the season started, head coach Tom Thibodeau was fired after Butler was dealt, and several key players were lost to injury.
This year begins with Ryan Saunders as the new head coach, and a revamped roster of players. MPR News host Cathy Wurzer checked in with Britt Robson for a preview. Robson covers the Timberwolves for The Athletic.
