Beginning Friday at 11:59 p.m., Minnesotans are being asked to stay home unless absolutely necessary.

The stay-at-home order from Gov. Tim Walz ratchets up existing guidance around social distancing — and for people already feeling cooped up, it will likely bring more questions about where to focus their time, and their minds.

One Minnesotan who’s familiar with isolation is polar explorer Will Steger. MPR News host Cathy Wurzer talked with him about how to make the most of this experience.
