. And it won’t be long before sirens are blowing for real, close to home.

Sirens will sound in many communities Thursday at 1:45 and 6:45 pm. 

 from the Minnesota Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division. 

Remember that outdoor warning sirens are designed as a last resort for people outdoors. These days you should have multiple warnings sources at hand. People often ignore multiple warning signals before acting. That’s a dangerous practice. Seek shelter first, then get confirmation and additional information.
