The perfect spring weekend in Minnesota? 

Ask 100 Minnesotans and you’ll get a dozen different answers. But the aggregate of those answers sounds something like this. 

Congratulations Minnesota. We may just win the weather lottery for this first weekend in May.

How about a stunning spring Thursday to get us in that weekend mood? Bright sun and light winds with temperatures in the 60s to near 70 will feel very good tomorrow. Even the North Shore gradually adds a few degrees Thursday.

A warm front may produce may see a few spotty showers Friday around Minnesota. 

Bright sun, light winds. You can’t draw it up any better for the first weekend in May. In fact, you could make the case that the next week will bring some of the best weather of the year in Minnesota.

The upper air forecast charts suggest the season’s warmest air may arrive in the second week of May. 

Some forecast models are cranking out highs well into the 70s, to possibly 80 degrees.
