Spectacular weekend ahead; weather whiplash next week

Potent warm front brings 80s to southwest Minnesota Friday

Here we go Minnesota. Get ready for some serious weather whiplash in the next week.

Friday warm front

Friday’s warm front is a potent one. Temperatures surged into the 80s as expected in southwest Minnesota Friday. The front drapes across southern Minnesota this afternoon. That means a big temperature contrast across the Twin Cities. It’s in the 70s in the south metro, but 50s and 60s linger just north.
