Free A/C: 1st sub-60 temperature in nearly 3 weeks

Less humid air mass through Thurdsay; 80 degree dew points Saturday?

Did you have the windows open for sleeping Tuesday night?

The most comfortable air mass in nearly three weeks blew into Minnesota Wednesday. The temperature at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport dipped below the 60-degree mark this morning for the first time since June 25.

And in case you’re wondering, that run of days with temperatures above 60 degrees in the Twin Cities and much of Minnesota is not even in the top 10.

Good sleeping weather

It’s a Minnesota cliche.

Cooler and less humid summer nights are prized for comfortable sleeping. Lows dip into the comfortable low 60s again Wednesday night, with some 50s up north.
