The smoky smudge is clearly visible on NOAA’s GOES-16 visible loop Monday afternoon.
The thickest smoke crosses the Upper Midwest Monday.
NOAA’s HRR model vertically integrated smoke product suggests the thicker plume will shift southward Tuesday. This should bring bluer skies to most of Minnesota Tuesday.
