Warmer next week
Southerly winds return to Minnesota next week. Forecast models vary on the magnitude of the warmup. But even the lower end projections crank out highs well into the 60s again next week across most of Minnesota.

More 70s ahead
The upper air pattern looks even warmer in the days surrounding the weekend of Oct. 11-12.

NOAA’s 8 to 14-day temperature outlook paints a sea of red favoring warmer than average temperatures as we move toward mid-October.

NOAA’s GFS 16-day temperature output still cranks out highs in the 70s, and potentially 80s in about 10 days.

Stay tuned.
