Delta is forecast to pass very near the resort area of Cancun early Wednesday morning.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Hurricane Center forecast is for 155 mph sustained winds. That’s a devastating wind damage and storm surge combination.
Delta is forecast to make another landfall along the Gulf Coast late this week.
The most likely target is Lousiana.
Delta looks to be the 5th hurricane landfall in the U.S. this year. The last time that occurred was 2005.
