The Election Day 2020 weather forecast looks favorable across most of the nation Tuesday.
A strong high-pressure cell over the eastern U.S. will bring dry and mild weather to most of the country. The exception will be the Pacific Northwest, where a few rain showers will fall.

Mild pattern
The jet stream lifting north into Canada means most of the U.S. is one the milder side of average weather for early November.

High temperatures will reach the 50s north, 60s to 70s across most of central and southern U.S. Tuesday afternoon.

2020 has produced record early vote turnout in many states. The favorable Election Day weather picture looks likely to add to what already looks like a record voter turnout across the country.
