Our early November warm spell continues to challenge high temperature records.
Election Day brought record highs to most of Minnesota including northern Minnesota.
Temperatures today soared again into the 70s all the way into parts of northern Minnesota, with 80 degrees popping up once again in southwest Minnesota.
The warmth broke several high temperature across northern Minnesota today.

Temperatures are running near record levels again Wednesday in the Twin Cities. As of this post time, the 73-degree temperature at MSP Airport is challenging the previous record of 74 set in 1975.

Forecast high temperatures will approach record levels again later this week. Thursday looks a few degrees cooler. But highs on Friday and into the weekend could challenge records.
I still think the forecast numbers below in the low 70s are a few degrees too conservative from Friday into the weekend.
Right now I’m forecasting mid to upper 70s for the Twin Cities Friday through Sunday.
