Twin Cities sets record high for the third time this week

Another day, another bevy of Minnesota November high temperature records. Temperatures soared into the 70s and 80s again Friday across the Upper Midwest.

Several location in the Twin Cities matched or exceed the all-time November high temperature record of 77 degrees set in 1999.

The temperature reached 75 degrees Friday as of this post at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

That breaks the previous record high of 73 degrees for Nov. 6 set way back in 1893.

Temperatures pushed into the 80s once again today in southwest Minnesota.

The temperatures we’re feeling across the Upper Midwest are running around 30 degrees warmer than climatological norms for early November.

The average high and low for the Twin Cities Friday are 47 and 31 degrees.
