This system looks light overall, but a narrow but moderate to heavy snow burst may drop a quick inch of snow across much of Minnesota into western Wisconsin Thursday.
NOAA’s NAM 3 km model paints the narrow, but vigorous snow band tracking eastward Thursday. The loop below runs from 6 am to 6 pm Thursday.

Quick inch
Overall snowfall totals look much lighter than what we saw Tuesday. Even though the snow may only last an hour or two Thursday, it looks heavy enough to drop a quick inch or so in many areas.

Be aware that roads may get slick fairly quickly as the snow band passes through Thursday.
