Well, that was it. The worst cold outbreak of winter is now behind us.
Temperatures broke above zero Tuesday afternoon across almost all of Minnesota. The Twin Cities soared to 12 degrees — above zero.

High temperatures will remain in the teens most of the week across Minnesota.

Thaw next week
The upper air pattern brings milder Pacific air into Minnesota next week.
Highs should reach the 30s as soon as Sunday afternoon. And highs should push the 40-degree mark by next Monday.

We’ll still get more snow and some subzero mornings. But the worst of winter’s cold is now behind us.
