Temperatures made the 40s once again Friday afternoon across much of Minnesota on mild southwest winds.

Saturday brings colder air to northwest Minnesota with highs in the teens. Highs remain mild in the south.

Sunday morning snow
A quick-hitting weather system brings snow to southern Minnesota overnight Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Snowfall totals of 1 to 3 inches look likely for the Twin Cities and southern Minnesota. Some locations could pick up 4 inches south of the Twin Cities.

First 50s next week?
After a chilly Sunday and Monday, mild Pacific air returns by Tuesday. Highs next week will be mostly in the 40s, with some locations pushing past 50 degrees next week.
