Another March warming trend kicks in for Minnesota the rest of this week. March so far is a few degrees either side of 10 degrees warmer than average across most of Minnesota.
Minnesota’s overall weather picture looks dry and milder through at least Saturday. Our higher September-like sun angle and intensity will help quickly melt snow in the next few days.
Highs reach the 50s across much of Minnesota starting Thursday and Friday.
Saturdays brings stiff, but milder south winds gusting to 30 mph. Winds ease Sunday, and temperatures into the mid and upper 50s will cover most of Minnesota.
The average high and low this weekend in the Twin Cities are 43 and 26 degrees. Temperatures will run about 15 degrees warmer than average this weekend.
