Three Minnesota teams advance to NCAA Frozen Four

It was a big weekend for college hockey fans in Minnesota.

The University of Minnesota Duluth set a league record on Saturday night for the longest game in NCAA tournament history. The Bulldogs beat North Dakota 3-2 in a game that stretched into the early hours of Sunday morning.

Two more Minnesota teams — Minnesota State Mankato and St. Cloud State — also advanced to the Frozen Four.

MPR News Host Cathy Wurzer caught up with Jess Myers, hockey writer for @therinklive and Forum News, for the latest.
