That frigid breeze reminds us: It’s still March in Minnesota.
We endure more typical March chill levels through Thursday in Minnesota. High temperatures run in the 30s across most of Minnesota Wednesday.

Temperatures begin to moderate Thursday afternoon. Highs in the 40s, sunshine, and less wind will feel nice.

By Friday highs in the 60s to near 70 degrees return from the west.

Weekend warm front
A strong warm front takes shape in the Dakotas late Thursday. That will blow a much warmer air mass into Minnesota again this weekend.

Highs will push into the 60s and low 70s Saturday. Sunday will feel more June than early April. Highs will push the 80-degree mark in western Minnesota Sunday afternoon.

Mild April?
NOAA’s week 3 to 4 temperature outlook strongly favors warmer than average temperatures through mid-April.
