Another inch or two

Our April showers low-pressure system is in no hurry to leave the Upper Midwest. Shower chances linger through this week, and possibly into the weekend. Rainfall coverage will diminish overall, and there will be many dry hours in between showers.

By this weekend another inch or two of rain will fall in many areas, with locally higher totals.

Drier weekend

Our rain system will slowly pull away from Minnesota this weekend. Highs will remain in the 40s north and 50s south through Saturday.

Sunday looks like the sunnier, and potentially milder day this weekend. We should crack the 60-degree mark again cross southern Minnesota Sunday afternoon.
