Frosty start Wednesday
Temperatures dip below freezing across most of northern Minnesota Wednesday morning. Much of southern Minnesota hovers near the freezing mark early Wednesday.
Highs Wednesday struggle to approach 50 degrees in the south, with 30s and 40s common.

Gradually milder this weekend
Highs return to the 50s in the Twin Cities and most of Minnesota Thursday through this weekend.
Thursday and Sunday look like the sunnier days.
Next week starts cool again. But there are signs we could see more 60s and maybe 70s as we approach the weekend of April 23-24.
