Some locations in southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and western Wisconsin picked up heavy rainfall early Monday.
A stalled front dropped multi-inch rainfall across the area. Doppler radar storm total rainfall shows swathes of heavier rainfall across the region. The yellow and orange areas indicate estimates of more than 2 inches of rainfall.

Several locations recorded more than 2 inches of rain including Winona, Minnesota. One report from Wisconsin shows over 4 inches of rainfall.

2 S Predmore [Olmsted Co, MN] PUBLIC reports HEAVY RAIN of 1.20 INCH at 5:52 AM CDT --
2 ENE Coon Valley [Vernon Co, WI] BROADCAST MEDIA reports HEAVY RAIN of 4.25 INCH at 6:11 AM CDT -- 24 HOUR RAIN TOTAL. RAIN GAUGE PICTURE ON SOCIAL MEDIA FROM TIMBER COULEE AREA.
Rain is gradually moving out of the region through Monday night.
