A check of daylight numbers shows why the next three months are among the brightest of the year in Minnesota. 

A look at the daylight graph for the Twin Cities shows how we are entering the three brightest months of the year now. 

One enjoyable feature of these peak summer daylight months is the long evening light. Sunset in the Twin Cities and most of Minnesota is 8:30 p.m. or later through Aug. 7. That makes for plenty of time after typical workday hours to get out and enjoy the brighter evenings.
