Saturday will be mostly cloudy but generally dry skies for most of Minnesota. Sunshine will be more abundant in western Minnesota.
NOAA’s sky cover forecast for 2 p.m. Saturday shows clouds lingering in eastern Minnesota, with sunnier skies moving in from the west.
Wind for anglers will be south at around 5 mph Saturday. The water in our lakes is still frigid, so be careful out there.
Summery pattern starting Sunday
Sunday brings the start of a much warmer weather pattern to Minnesota. Highs will push well into the 70s under abundant sunshine.
Temperatures will be even warmer next Monday through Wednesday. Highs will push near 80 degrees across most of Minnesota and into the 80s in the north.
It looks dry and comfortable next Monday through Wednesday, but more humidity and chances for thunderstorms arrive starting next Thursday into Saturday.
