The severe storms that tore through the Twin Cities in the wee hours of Friday morning also dropped two tornadoes in Dakota County.

That’s the late news Friday afternoon from the Twin Cities National Weather Service. NWS storm survey teams found evidence of the two twisters in the field Friday.

EF ratings for wind speed and data on path length and width will be coming in Friday evening as the survey teams issue the fuller report.
