The winds of November return this week.
Low-pressure systems streaking across Canada this week will sweep a series of fronts across Minnesota.

The first warm front sweeps across Minnesota Tuesday. A cold front will follow Wednesday. Tuesday’s southerly winds will gust at or above 30 mph across most of Minnesota.
Wednesday brings a wind shift into the northwest, and gusts will reach 30 mph once again. Wind gusts in the Dakotas will exceed 40 mph Wednesday.

Temperature roller coaster
Tuesday’s gusty winds blow milder air into Minnesota. Highs will reach the upper 30s and 40s in central and northern Minnesota with 50s in the south. Mild weather Tuesday will be as close as Omaha and northwest Iowa where temperatures will push 70 degrees.

Colder air returns Wednesday through the end of the week. Highs will fall through the 40s Wednesday and hover in the 30s across most of Minnesota Thursday and Friday.

Right now the upcoming weekend looks pretty nice for late November. The weekend looks mostly dry at this point. Highs should be in the lower 40s south with 30s north.
