* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of South Central Minnesota Southeast South Dakota West Central Wisconsin
* Effective this Tuesday night from 600 PM until Midnight CDT.
* Primary threats include... Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible A tornado or two possible
SUMMARY...Thunderstorms will develop across the watch area late this afternoon and evening. Scattered strong to severe storms are expected, with a risk of large hail. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles north and south of a line from 40 miles southwest of Brookings SD to 50 miles east of Minneapolis MN.

Several tornadoes and a couple intense tornadoes likely Widespread large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5 inches in diameter likely Widespread damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely
SUMMARY...Thunderstorms are expected to intensify rapidly this afternoon and early evening over northern Iowa, and track northward into southern Minnesota. Supercell storms capable of very large hail and a few tornadoes may occur. Strong tornadoes are possible.
