Comfortable Sunday temps; any hot weather in sight?

Morning fog is possible on Sunday

Pesky clouds kept our temperatures in check Saturday afternoon. The Saturday high of 74 degrees at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was well below our August 13 average Twin Cities high of 81.

Rain chances

I should mention that areas of fog are possible in Minnesota and western Wisconsin late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. A few spots could see a bit of drizzle along with the fog.

Sunday is expected to be rain-free in most of Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Parts of north-central and northeastern Minnesota could see a shower or thunderstorm Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening.

NOAA’s High-Resolution Rapid-Refresh (HRRR) forecast model shows the potential rain pattern from noon Sunday to 11 p.m. Sunday:
