Quiet weather in most areas Sunday; near-normal temps to start the week

Rain chances highest in southwestern Minnesota on Monday

A high pressure system has settled in over Minnesota. It has given us light winds, which allowed areas of fog to develop this morning. That fog has burned off in most locations, but some spots will have patchy fog until around midday.

Many of us will see clouds mixed with some sunshine Sunday afternoon, but parts of southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin will see cloudy skies linger well into Sunday afternoon.

Rain chances?

Parts of far western Minnesota could see a passing shower Sunday afternoon, and there will be a chance of scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm in north-central and northeastern Minnesota Sunday afternoon and evening.
