A high pressure system spread over Minnesota late Saturday night, which lightened our winds and allowed areas of dense fog to develop. The fog will linger into Sunday morning, then burn off.
A dense fog advisory (shaded gray) covers much of Minnesota and parts of northwestern Wisconsin until 10 a.m.:
The dense fog advisory includes Anoka County of the Twin Cities metro area. The other 6 counties of the 7-county Twin Cities metro area are not included in the advisory, but could see patchy areas of morning fog.

8:45 a.m. Update
The dense fog advisory for portions of northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin has been extended to 10 a.m. by the Duluth office of the NWS.

Sunday temps and dew points
Our average Twin Cities high temperature is 80 degrees this time of year. Some spots in the metro are will touch 80 Sunday afternoon, with upper 70s in the remainder of the metro area.
Many spots in Minnesota and western Wisconsin will see Sunday highs in the upper 70s to around 80:
There will be some lower 80s in far northwestern Minnesota and a few upper 60s to lower 70s in sections of Lake and Cook County closest to Lake Superior.
Sunday afternoon dew points will be in the comfortable 50s in northern Minnesota, with slightly sticky lower 60s in the south:
