Scattered showers with much cooler temperatures on Friday. Most places will stay in the 60s. Some sun will peek out late Saturday with more on Sunday.
Scattered rain showers
Expect scattered showers Friday with a lot of clouds in the wake of a significant cool front that’s dropped temperatures.

The high of the day occurred around midnight for most of us. Daytime highs will be mainly in the 60s statewide Friday.
Cooler temperatures persist into early next week
Saturday will see lingering showers in southeast Minnesota with sunshine breaking out slowly in the west by afternoon. High temperatures again will be in the 60s to low 70s.

If we don’t hit 70 in the Twin Cities Saturday, it’ll be the first time since May 26 (before Memorial weekend). We should see more sunshine Sunday and Monday. Indications are that warmer temperatures of 80 or higher return by mid to late next week.
