...HAZARDOUS WIND CHILLS THIS MORNING AND THEN AGAIN THIS EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING... .Very cold wind chills of 25 below zero or colder are expected this morning and then again this evening through Wednesday morning across central Minnesota and western Wisconsin. A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect north of a line from Montevideo and Red Wing, Minnesota to Eau Claire, Wisconsin. * WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills of 20 below to 30 below zero, mildest in the Twin Cities metro. * WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Wisconsin and east central Minnesota. * WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to noon CST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
