Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms Friday with temperatures falling from the low 70s into the 60s. North winds will usher in cooler temperatures for the weekend. Brighter skies develop by late Saturday and Sunday.
Soggy Friday for some
Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will slowly move across central Minnesota Friday. In the Twin Cities, we’ll see a few showers in the morning with more numerous showers in the afternoon and evening.

Temps will fall from the low 70s into the 60s Friday afternoon.

Cooler weekend, then a warmup
High temperatures will be near 70 in southern Minnesota Saturday and Sunday and just in the 60s in northern Minnesota.

We’ll gradually see sun peek out Saturday with more sun Sunday and Monday.

High temperatures are likely to be back in the 80s by the middle or late next week.

The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts model even has us well into the 80s, if not flirting with 90 again by Thursday next week.
