We had record high temps in many parts of Minnesota Wednesday, including the Twin Cities. If that felt too strange, and you’re longing for more typical November weather, then we have a weekend outlook that will suit you.
Weekend temps and winds
Our average Nov. 5 high temperature is 47 degrees in the Twin Cities. We’re looking at Saturday highs in the mid to upper 40s in the metro area. Most of Minnesota and western Wisconsin will have Saturday afternoon highs in the 40s:
A few spots in southwestern Minnesota and far southeastern Minnesota could top 50 degrees.
Saturday afternoon wind gusts will be in the 16 mph to 24 mph range in roughly the southeastern half of Minnesota and in western Wisconsin:

Rain and snow chances Saturday
A low-pressure system is expected to bring periods of rain to much of eastern Minnesota and also Wisconsin on Saturday. The precipitation may be a mix of snow and rain in northeastern Minnesota and parts of south-central Minnesota.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s FV3 forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern from 4 a.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Saturday:
