Wednesday morning snow showers will end by late morning with some sun in the afternoon. High temperatures will range from the low 20s southeast to zero northwest.

It’ll be milder Thursday but more snow moves into southern Minnesota Thursday night.

A second clipper is bringing snow showers to central Minnesota Wednesday morning.

After morning snow showers, skies will clear into the afternoon Wednesday.

High temperatures will be cooler but will vary from around zero in northwestern Minnesota into the low 20s in southeastern Minnesota.

Overnight will be another colder night, especially in northern Minnesota where it will be below zero, yet again.

Thursday will be milder, with highs near 30 in southern Minnesota.

A larger storm system will bring snow with a possible wintry mix into southern Minnesota Thursday evening into Friday morning.

The Twin Cities will be on the northern edge of this snowfall with 1 to 2 inches possible while along Interstate 90 some places could see up to 5 inches.

After the snow Friday morning, it’ll be a mild weekend with highs well into the 30s across southern Minnesota and 20s north.

We’re eyeing a potentially bigger storm system developing early next week which could bring heavy, wet snow and rain to Minnesota along with possible severe weather south in the central and southern states.

Wednesday morning snow showers are bringing a coating of fresh snow to much of central Minnesota. High temperatures will be cooler, with a big spread between northwest and southeast Minnesota ranging from zero to the low 20s.
