Storm grazes southern MN Thursday night

A larger storm system will bring snow with a possible wintry mix into southern Minnesota Thursday evening into Friday morning.

The Twin Cities will be on the northern edge of this snowfall with 1 to 2 inches possible while along Interstate 90 some places could see up to 5 inches.

After the snow Friday morning, it’ll be a mild weekend with highs well into the 30s across southern Minnesota and 20s north.

Bigger storm possible early next week

We’re eyeing a potentially bigger storm system developing early next week which could bring heavy, wet snow and rain to Minnesota along with possible severe weather south in the central and southern states.
