The average Feb. 11 Twin Cities high temperature is 27 degrees. The metro area and much of Minnesota will see Saturday afternoon highs in the 40s:
A few spots in and near the Red River Valley in northwestern Minnesota could have highs in the upper 30s.
Southwesterly breezes will give us early-afternoon wind chills in the 30s:

Dry day
A low pressure system moving across southern Canada will bring southwesterly breezes to Minnesota today. Dry weather is expected in Minnesota through the afternoon and early evening hours.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale (NAM) forecast model shows the surface pressure pattern and the precipitation pattern from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. this Saturday:
Scattered light rain showers or snow showers will be possible in far northern Minnesota late Saturday night or early Sunday.

Plenty of snow cover for winter fun
If your weekend plans include sledding, cross-country skiing or snowboarding, the weekly snow depth map from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources shows plenty of snow on the ground across much of Minnesota:
The current official Twin Cities snow depth, measured at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, is 8 inches. Some spots in the far north metro have snow depths of 12 inches or more.
The purple-shaded areas from northern Pine County through northeastern Minnesota have snow depths of 18 inches or more. The light-purple shaded areas in northeastern Minnesota have 24 to 30 inches of snow cover.
