A low pressure system will drop several inches of snow on much of northern Minnesota and parts of northern Wisconsin Sunday night through Monday. Central Minnesota will have lighter snow amounts.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale (NAM) forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern from 9 p.m. Sunday to 11 p.m. Monday:

Lighter snow amounts are expected in central Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin on Monday. The Twin Cities metro area could see periods of light snow and a rain/snow mix on Monday, with a half-inch or less of accumulation.

Sunday highs range from teens in far northwestern Minnesota to 30s from the North Shore through the metro area and southeastern Minnesota plus western Wisconsin:
