Chance of a light wintry mix Sunday morning; periods of snow northern Minn. today

Some snow accumulation in far northern Minnesota

Spotty areas of light freezing rain or a wintry mix that includes light snow are possible in central and southern Minnesota Sunday morning.

Northern Minnesota and western Wisconsin will have periods of a wintry mix or mainly light snow anytime today.

Notice the chance for light freezing rain from Grand Rapids to Duluth and Hinckley and into northwestern Wisconsin.

Our average Twin Cities high temperature is 50 degrees on April 2. Metro area highs will probably reach the upper 40s this Sunday.
