Much of Minnesota and Wisconsin endured several steamy days this past week.
A Canadian high pressure system spread cooler and drier air over us late Friday into Saturday, and these comfortable temps and dew points will linger through Sunday.
How many 90s?
The official Twin Cities high temperature (measured at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport) was 90 degrees or warmer on Monday through Friday of this past week.
There have been 9 days this month with an official Twin Cities high temp of 90 or warmer, matching the June tally. We saw 2 days of 90 or warmer in May:

MSP airport has recorded 20 days this year with a high of 90 degrees or warmer. The Twin Cities has an average of 13 days per year with a high of 90 or warmer. The highest number of 90 or warmer days in Twin Cities weather records was 44, set in 1988.
Temperature trends
The Saturday high temp at at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was 81 degrees. That’s a couple of degrees shy of our average Twin Cities high for this date, but it was very comfortable.
It was a nice break from recent steamy weather, especially for people without air conditioning. People who do have air-conditioning were able to shut it off and crack open the windows for fresh air.
Sunday highs will be in the lower 80s in roughly the southern half of Minnesota, with 70s elsewhere:

Monday highs will be mainly in the 80s:
Twin Cities metro area highs are projected to reach the mid 80s on Monday and Tuesday followed by upper 80s to around 90 on Wednesday and Thursday. We’ll be back to the md 80s on Friday.
Rain chances?
Northwestern Minnesota and parts of central Minnesta could see a passing sprinkle Saturday evening.
An upper level disturbance could bring scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm to portions of northern and central Minnesota late Saturday night into Sunday morning.
